Oh no, not again, Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag. Here we are having the HBR debacle brought into every conversation when you talk about Call of Duty, and now you've gone and done it again.

Despite finding a new haven on VALORANT, leaving the days of competitive Call of Duty behind and in the safe hands of his LA Thieves, the memes of his gameplay and mannerisms don't just stop with the move, and Riot Games has now made sure he's never going to be able to rest easy in their territory.

The HBR meme stems from a 2015 Advanced Warfare match where he notoriously pulled out one of the worst weapons (the HBR) in the game in an official CWL fixture, in order to try and find an element of surprise to turn around a bad map. Now, the meme is never more than three mentions apart on his social media, although a new one may be on the cards after running his mouth to Riot Games.

Having tried to get clever with the developers, following the release of the Endeavour bundle in VALORANT, the social media team have been biding their time to launch a response, and they've come in all-Vandals blazing with a hilarious "chalked" meme.

Riot Games Social Media Team Troll Nadeshot

Nadeshot has recently become quite the advocate of VALORANT, streaming it consistently alongside popular content creator and ex-CS:GO pro Tarik "tarik" Celik - who himself has also been vocal on the esports side of VALORANT, recently slamming Sentinels.

As a comfortable member of the community, Nade put pressure on Riot Games for the Endeavour Bundle, and the lack of experimentation with its design.

"No disrespect to Riot and the design team, but I think I speak for everyone that if a bundle doesn’t come with alternate colour ways and special effects, the bundle is already chalked. So much potential with this one, too," he said on Twitter. Already chalked.

Now, Riot Games has collected their Ult points wisely, and, after Nadeshot admitted "VALORANT dead-ass might be my favourite game of all time," they hit back with a beautiful back-handed compliment.

The template shows the Endeavour weapon variant on his player card, with the strapline "Chalked" etched underneath his name. To top it off, the developers also took a swipe at the "Hoodie Org" jibe - a joke often aimed at 100 Thieves following their many apparel releases.

It appears to be quite the time for social media fanatics to be finding success in memes, with New York Subliners' account smashing LA Thieves' record of the most liked tweet by a CDL team page through the means of hilariously destroying a FaZe Clan member

Nadeshot did see the funny side to the troll, taking to social media to say, "The layers to this roast from VALORANT is truly inspiring. Bravo," before continuing to rack up kills on the FPS game.
