When the mighty fall, it's a tremendous climb back to the top, and for Sentinels, their tumble from the throne has continued to spiral to a place of turmoil. Having once been the undefeatable champions of VALORANT, the roster has gone from drinking in golden chalices to swimming in the chaos of Challengers and could be set to miss out on the North American Stage 2 Major.

Despite a roster change that saw Eric "Kanpeki" Xu join the roster in place of Jared "zombs" Gitlin, and fending off competition from Jay "Sinatraa" Won, Sentinels are facing elimination from the second split of the VALORANT Champions Tour, after suffering losses in the first Open Qualifiers to both FaZe Clan and Luminosity.

Now, popular streamer and ex-Counter-Strike professional Tarik "tarik" Celik has slammed the organisation that has left their players out to dry.

Tarik Slams Sentinels Management And CEO

Surprisingly, Sentinels won back-to-back Masters championships without a head coach and identified this as an area they needed to improve on when they finally had their undefeated run ended.

However, an unsuccessful addition of ex-Overwatch professional Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty as Coach ended in just three months, leaving the honus back with IGL Shahzeb "ShahZam" Khan to come up with the playbook. With a player-coach, Sentinels have relied on individual talent, earning them the tag of TenZ and Friends, based off their performances revolving around Tyson "TenZ" Ngo.

Now, Tarik has blasted the organisation for "failing" the world's most popular VALORANT roster, by not pulling strings to get them the best coach necessary.

Speaking in a VCT co-stream, Tarik said, "They have the most popular VALORANT team in the world. As a manager of this org, if I was working there, or if I was the CEO, I would be pushing to get these guys a f**king coach right away, and they clearly want one."

"This is a failure from the org side," he continued. "The players are catching all the flack, but where’s the org in all this? Why aren't they taking the fall?"

Sentinels have a last-chance shot at making the NA Challengers this weekend. Having once defined the early VALORANT era, they now may not even find themselves in the top 12 of NA - a clear cry for help given their undeniable individual prowess.
