Nintendo fans are absolutely starved.

For a very long time, fans have been waiting and waiting for a lot of basic quality-of-life changes to the Nintendo Switch, and simply haven't been met with them. Nintendo, for all their good qualities, aren't exactly the best at responding to player feedback, and though we finally got bluetooth connectivity on the Switch, it came incredibly late, long after players could remember that they had asked for it.

But now, a new long-awaited feature has finally arrived on the Switch, and though it may seem menial, fans are absolutely delighted.

Nintendo Switch Adds Game Folders

Oh my god. They did it.

In the brand new Nintendo Switch update that went live this morning, fans finally have the opportunity to sort their games and apps into different folders.

The feature has been requested ever since the Switch went live, as many felt that the interface that showed players all of their downloaded software was messy and without much of an option to tidy up, and now they're absolutely delighted that the new feature has finally been added to the Switch.

All players have to do to get the feature is update the console to version 14.0.0, and then press the L button in the "All Software" tab to sort their items into groups that they can customize to their heart's content.

Fans React To New Folder Feature

Fans have been waiting a very long time for this feature - and though many are incredibly excited, others are feeling that this addition could be too little, too late.

Nintendo just can't win - but then again, it has been a long time since fans have wanted the feature. Maybe the browser could be next - but don't expect it before the end of the Switch life cycle.
