Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Infected is a game mode that has captured the imagination of players for years, offering a highly entertaining gameplay that differs from the gung-ho modes like Hardpoint and Domination. Becoming a fun party mode, Infected is often a way of killing time with hilarious plays and exciting combat.

However, we can never just have fun. There's always something that ruins it. Modern Warfare is no different, and a glitch has been found in Infected which makes players invincible.

In the new Infected game mode, Reinfected: Ground War, layers will drop into sections of the Warzone map, Verdansk, in different areas such as Boneyard or Tavorsk District. Within this playlist, Call of Duty content creator "Bubs" has found the invincibility glitch on the Karst River Quarry map, making players un-killable.

By going prone near the edge of the map, players can crawl inside a rock and disappear, making it impossible for the infected players to locate and kill them. That is if they don't know they glitch themselves.

Starting at 1:36 in the video, Bubs shows just how to become invincible.

Bubs showcased how you can even shoot out of the rock, and an enemy throwing knife won't come through, meaning you can pick off infected opponents without worrying that you will get eliminated with a stray knife. The only way you can get killed out of this will be if an infected enemy crawls through the rock too.

The YouTuber states that the playlist will likely be taken down when the developers get wind of the glitch, as many players are getting nukes from the exploit. If not, the playlist update on Tuesday 22 will contain a patch for this. So, if you're one for taking advantage of glitches, you may want to jump into Reinfected: Ground War as soon as possible.

As for Warzone, the same area of the map is available, however, the glitch doesn't seem to work on the battle royale.
