Conduit has made her debut in Apex Legends with Season 19, giving players another Support character on the roster to aid them to victory.

Her kit combines shield regeneration with disruption, making her an impressive threat on the battlefield, if you're experienced with her abilities.

As it's still early days, it's hard to know where Conduit is going to fit into the meta, but one pro has already ruled her out of getting any success in competitive play.

In Philip 'ImperialHal' Dosen's opinion, Conduit just doesn't have the tools to compete, and neither does any other character in the Support category.

ImperialHal give his final verdict on Conduit in Apex Legends

During a recent stream, ImperialHal shared his thoughts on Conduit and whether she has the potential to make a splash in competitive play.

For him, she's a fairly "mid" character with very few strong points in her kit. As a result, Hal doesn't think she has a chance of becoming meta in Comp.

"Her Ult is not that good and she's a Support class, Support class does not do anything in Comp... look at all the characters in Support class, nobody plays these and if they do, they're always doing bad."

The TSM IGL feels as if Respawn needed to make Conduit's abilities "way better" if they wanted her to compete at the top level of play.

Does that mean Conduit is bad in Apex Legends?

So, does that mean Conduit is useless in Apex Legends? No, certainly not, as the Shield Healer definitely has a place in specific squads, especially when it comes to Ranked.

Her movement speed is great for keeping up with allies, her Ultimate is brilliant in the final circle, and her shining light is without a doubt her Shield Regen Tactical.

Conduit may not be making many appearances in the ALGS this year, but if you enjoy her kit and put effort into learning her abilities, she can be a true force in the Outlands.
