G2 And Adidas Announce Partnership In Cinematic Trailer
G2 Esports and Adidas have just launched a brand-new trailer for their partnership, and wow.
The whole concept surrounds a couple, one of which has no idea who G2 is, and the other whom is a fan. Honestly, you have to watch this to appreciate just how cool it is.
The esports team has landed a two-year deal with Adidas, making them the sole manufacturer of the 2021 jerseys.
According to reports, a “subtle hologram image” of founder and CEO Carlos '"celote" Rodriguez will be visible somewhere on the jersey. However, judging by his tongue-in-cheek Tweet, this may or may not be true.
Esports Insider reports that the jerseys will use AEROREADY technology, which is designed to ‘keep the fabric dry and breathable’.
Rodriguez said: “Today is a landmark day in G2 history. To announce a partnership with a global sports brand like adidas is a truly special moment for all of us.
“Esports has been booming for a while, and 2020 was yet another superb year for its growth. I could not be more stoked about the potential of this partnership between adidas and G2 throughout the next years.”
