An Instant Craft Exploit Has Shown Up In Fortnite Season 6

Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 6 has brought with it many new features, from taming animals to crafting makeshift, primal, and mechanical weapons. While these changes may be unnerving to some, adding endless possibilities to the already exhilarating battle royale from Epic Games, a Fortnite YouTuber known as Jedi2x has discovered a crafting exploit that could cut your crafting time down to almost nothing.

Shared via Twitter, the clip shows Jedi2x utilising the auto-run feature to craft items almost instantly (assuming you have all the necessary parts to craft the item). After starting to auto-run, opening up the crafting menu and beginning to craft will cancel the auto-run and the crafting itself, but upon reopening the crafting menu, the timer will no longer finish, and the item will be crafted almost instantaneously.

Check out the exploit in the video below.

While the exploit has been pointed out on Reddit to be inconsistent, it's up to Fortnite players themselves to try it out in-game, and see if the time-saving glitch is worth it, before it is inevitably patched out by Epic Games. When glitches and bugs like this come around (and they often do), it's only a matter of time before it will no longer be available to seek out, so try it while you can! The few seconds you can save on crafting time could be the difference between life or death in the battle royale.

Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 6 is available to download and play right now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
