The gods (of mischief) are smiling down on us, as Epic Games had just confirmed Loki for Fortnite. Ever since the end of Chapter 2 Season 6, the talented trickster has been tipped to make his mark on the map.

Since the introduction of the Fortnite Crew membership earlier this year, players have been divided by the subscription service. We've had a mix of pop culture and unique skins, however, the likes of Green Arrow and Alli have failed to get us excited. All that could be about to change.

When is Loki coming to Fortnite?

Epic just announced Loki will be part of July's Fortnite Crew, meaning now could be the time to start up our membership again. Costing £9.99 a month, Epic has tried to keep us interested by bundling the likes of Spotify Premium membership with Fortnite Crew. We'd argue it's worth it in July just for Loki alone.

Why is Loki coming to Fortnite?

As well as the sci-fi theme of Chapter 2 Season 7, Loki is well-timed for the battle royale bonanza thanks to his Disney+ series. Tom Hiddleston is leading the live-action series, which is currently halfway through its six-week run.

With Loki heading toward its finale and threatening to blow open the Multiverse, there couldn't be a better time for him to wave his sceptre and stick on a pair of horns in Fortnite
