The Florida Mutineers were once a force to be reckoned with, back in Modern Warfare 2019. The roster became the first and only team to win three chips in the inaugural CDL season, taking advantage of the online era to finish the table in third. Since then, it's been a fall from grace though, and the org has now decided to sink its ship and be born again from a new tide.

Having been successful by centring around Cesar "Skyz" Bueno back in Modern Warfare, with much help from the legacies of the late Maurice "F3ro" Henriquez, family-feuded Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson, and Halo alumni Bradley "Frosty" Bergstrom, the Mutineers have long since been trying to recapture their former glory.

However, going into Modern Warfare 2, the sequel of their infamous season, they've decided to start from scratch, as their substitute has risen from beneath the waves to usurp the entire roster.

Florida Mutineers Release Entire Starting Roster

Taking to social media just 24 hours after the free agency period began, Florida Mutineers have revealed the four starters that finished the Vanguard campaign will be leaving the organisation.

Main-man Skyz is set to be joining New York Subliners amid their roster mayhem, while Joseph "Owakening" Conley, Michael "MajorManiak" Szymaniak, Brendan "2ReaL" Stockdale, and substitute Christian "Yeez" Faircloth will all follow him out of the door.

"Rostermania will be wild," promised the Mutineers in their statement, also thanking the players for their commitment to the team this season.

Florida Mutineers To Base 2023 Roster Around DavPadie

Only Vanguard rookie David "DavPadie" Maslowski remains as the organisation, seemingly becoming their focal point for the Modern Warfare 2 season.

The young Assault Rifle player struggled in his opening venture in the CDL, albeit in a confusing role, where he was soon benched for MajorManiak. The Mutineers then has three ARs in an SMG-heavy title though, which wasn't a recipe that saw much success. Now, DavPadie will likely stand alone as an AR, with multiple SMG players on the radar.

As to who will be available to fill the SMG roles, that's yet to be seen. The AR free agency list is stacked at the moment, with James "Clayster" Eubanks and Ian "Crimsix" Porter being the biggest names, while Dillon "Attach" Price has also flirted with the slower-paced weapon in recent weeks, and quite impressively too.

Maybe a Challenger protegee might be the route for Florida. Could back-to-back Challengers champion Mohak "MohaK" Kumar finally get his shot? Or maybe a world-renowned free agent like Benjamin "Bance" Bance could be snapped up.
