We've all heard of breaking the bank when getting a big win, but when it comes to Ian "Crimsix" Porter, he might've just taken the biscuit with extravagant spending. The Dallas Empire cornerstone has been splashing the cash and spent a whopping $22k of his winnings on night vision goggles.

Taking top prize in August's Call of Duty Championship means Crimsix were No. 1 alongside the rest of Dallas Empire when the team toppled Atlanta FaZe to earn a cool $1.5 million. The win put Crim in the history books with the most CoD Championship wins of all time - adding 2020 to his 2014 and 2017 wins. Crimsix was also joined by teammate James "Clayster" Eubanks in the exclusive three-time club.

Deciding what to spend his share of the money on hasn't proved to be a problem for Crim, who quickly went out and bought a pair of night vision goggles. Well, it's sure to help improve his CoD game (not that he needs it). Crim, Clayster, Indervir "iLLeY" Dhaliwal, Cuyler "Huke" Garland, and Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro each took home around $350k.

Discussing what's next for the winners with Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, Crimsix told the CouRage & Nadeshot Show exactly where some of his money went. The 28-year-old explained, "I was like, ‘what’s the best night-vision goggles the military can get?’ Dude, I want the helmet, I want the mount… I want to be able to walk my dog'. Bravo six, going dark. Except, it’s Crimsix, going dark".

When Nade asked for an exact figure and guessed somewhere between $5k and $15k, Crimsix asked viewers not to tell his fiancée and revealed the jaw-dropping $22,000 tag. However, with Porter having earned $1,148,159.47 from tournaments, he's not short of a dollar or two. Added to his impressive bank balance, Crimsix is also the Winningest Player in Call of Duty History (yep, that's actually a thing) with 32 tournament wins under his belt.

Clayster's purchases weren't quite as out-there, with the young player saying that although he bought a $3,500 television, he's quite happy with this year being the first time he's been debt-free.

Even though it was a blow for FaZe coming in second, don't feel too bad for the team. The runner-ups won a hefty $900,000 for their troubles. We're wondering if Simp, Cellium, MajorManiak, Priestahh, or aBeZy made as equally an outlandish purchase as Crim? Who knows, maybe he's getting ready for his own real-life Splinter Cell game?
