Call of Duty Zombies Just Made Its Toughest Boss Invincible
Come on, Cold War. We expected this of Warzone, not you.
It’s no secret that across the lifecycle of the Call of Duty series, there have been a few bugs. It only makes sense really, as no game can be completely airtight of glitches. Now, especially as the series offers free DLC to all players, their appearance becomes more and more likely.
And of course, as these big updates have introduced the hugely popular Outbreak Zombies mode, it was only a matter of time before a big bug made playing the mode a little tougher. And "big" is definitely the word for it.
Zombies Outbreak Bug Makes Boss Invisible
For Outbreak players, Orda has caused a hell of a lot of trouble by itself. The brutal mini-boss is one of the game’s absolute toughest, and has been the bane of many fans’ playthroughs - but now it’s getting a lot harder.
A clip posted to the CODZombies subreddit by user UnipueButSimplistic has shown off that a huge bug has made one of the game’s bosses even tougher by making it invisible. The video shows the player firing into the air seemingly at nothing, but the shots are connecting with Orda as they fight back.
But, it seems that Orda isn’t entirely impossible to see.
Zombies Fans Find Solutions To Invisible Orda Glitch
They say if you want a job done properly, do it yourself - and despite it not being their job to do so, Zombies fans in the comments of the Reddit post have found solutions to the invisible Orda glitch.
Some commenters have suggested that the boss will appear if you look at it through a thermal scope, and others have pointed out that Orda is visible if you’re using the Death Perception perk. The thermal scope might not be all that much help given how monstrously large the beast is, but it’s fascinating that Death Perception makes the accidentally invisible Orda visible. Who knows why this bug is occurring, but at least we’ve got a short-term fix.
Here’s hoping that a quick fix is on the way - after all, we can’t be using thermal sights forever.
