Well, even in spite of the great start that Infinity Ward's Warzone 2 has had, it's still inherited a sad feature from the first game... the glitches.

Even though there isn't much evidence that the cheating and hacking problem is as bad in the long-awaited sequel, the free-to-play battle royale is still suffering from the growing pains of a new live service game.

Warzone 2 is dishing out glitches left, right, and centre, with one ruining games entirely. If it's not invisible walls inside Modern Warfare 2's Shoot House, it's invisible rivals here.

What Is The Warzone 2 Invisibility Glitch?

A Warzone 2 invisibility glitch has been unearthed in the battle royale, which sees players completely invisible from the perspective of others - making them almost impossible to take down.

XSET streamer SuperEv was among the first to bring attention to the Warzone 2 invisibility glitch, sharing a video that details his abrupt end in a battle royale game. It comes at the hands of a player who was simply impossible to see.

The replies have been peppered with gamers reporting that the same thing has happened to them, while other players have expressed their disdain for the glitch that has jumped games from the first title.

More Players Report Invisible Player Glitch

Replies have contained more videos of players suffering these seemingly invisible players, and it's a grim reminder of how much tidying up Infinity Ward has to do in its game so close to its launch.

This is yet another glitch to be added to the long list of Modern Warfare problems, and Infinity Ward stands to be pretty overwhelmed if the pace of bug discoveries keeps up like this.

We can only hope the developer can keep on top of it - because returning to the quality of Raven Software with the OG Warzone could well and truly put this new sequel in the mud with its predecessor.
