After confirming that they have purchased the 12th and final Call of Duty League spot, the combined parties of Oxygen Esports and Kraft Sports and Entertainment Group has already begun to pad out their squad for the Boston-based franchise, and has reportedly also found their top two targets to lead their roster.

Together, Oxygen and Kraft are set to compete under a Boston name, teased as "Boston Breach", although no trademarks surrounding the name have been found. However, the organisation has already breached the walls of their CDL 2022 roster by acquiring a head coach and team manager, just a mere 24 hours after purchasing the position from Envy following the OpTic Texas merger.

Boston CDL Team Sign Denz And Zed As Coaching Staff

After announcing their retirement from Call of Duty esports, former Paris Legion duo Zach "Zed" Denyer and Denholm "Denz" Taylor have been signed by the Boston CDL franchise as Head Coach and General Manager respectively.

Australian-born Denz retired from the scene as the most decorated player in Asia Pacific history, enjoying spells at Paris, Mindfreak, Team Reciprocity, and most recently Challengers side EastR. Now, he has been confirmed as the Boston CDL General Manager for the upcoming season.

Zed, who will join as Head Coach, competed under the London Royal Ravens banner last season, putting in respectable performances despite the team struggling with roster turmoil.

After joining the new Boston-based org, Zed said: "I'm excited to finally share I'll be the head coach for the Boston CDL team. I can't wait to help create a positive work space for all players and staff that join us. It's very important to create a fun, productive environment to ensure players reach their full potential."

Boston CDL Target Methodz and TJHaly

According to a report from CDL leaker Cory "CRONE" Davis, both Anthony "Methodz" Zinni and Thomas "TJHaly" Haly have been identified as the two main targets for the Boston CDL franchise's 2022 starting roster.

Both Methodz and TJHaly have found themselves without a team for the CDL 2022 season, despite both starting the year at considerably top-tier teams in Toronto Ultra and Los Angeles Thieves, respectively. With a wealth of experience between them, it appears that they will combine to spearhead the Boston roster, after their move to Washington fell through.

Rookie players Dylan "Nero" Koch and "Capsidal" could also fill out the roster, with the latter rejoining Denz after the two competed together last year.

The Boston CDL team will likely be unveiled in the near future, with the Kickoff Classic set in stone for January 21.
