Resident Evil: Village is one of the highlights of 2021’s gaming output, and frankly, one of the better entries in the classic horror series. The current spooky frontrunner of the newest generation of gaming has sent chills up the spines of players everywhere - and the arrival of Lady Dimitrescu sent the internet into a mad spiral.

There’s no doubt that the game has made a splash, and thankfully, it looks like there’s a brand-new way to get started with the game, as a new play option has been granted to users on PlayStation consoles.

PS4 And PS5 Players Get New Resident Evil Demo

A brand-new demo for Resident Evil: Village has been unleashed on the PlayStation store, ready for any fans on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 consoles, so it’s not the full game by any stretch - but it’s a substantial peek into the nooks and crannies of the spooky village.

The demo drops you right into your encounter with Lady Dimitrescu, a portion of the game that fans wanted much more of, so luckily, the short part of the game that’s free to play is probably one of the best parts of the game.

Plus, it doesn’t end there - PlayStation Resi fans also have a cheaper way to bag the latest title too.

Resident Evil: Village Is Dirt Cheap In PS’ Halloween Sale

Not only is the most adored section of the game free-to-play right now, but the game has also had a massive price docking in the current spooky sale happening on the PlayStation Store. Resident Evil: Village alone is £31.34, making it a 43% markdown. It’s a brilliant price for a game that was only released this year, and remains the most popular horror title of 2021 - but it doesn’t stop there.

The digital deluxe edition is £40.29, and you can bag the game in a bundle with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’s deluxe edition for £50.24.

The game is currently leading PlayStation’s spooky season - and for good reason. If you’ve been meaning to bag the title for some time but have waited for the right time, it might be now.
