As a Titanfall spin-off, Apex Legends has a huge arsenal of weapons that boasts the likes of fan favourites, including the R99, R301 Carbine, Kraber, Flatline, and, of course, legendary Wingman.

Despite this, it's hard for Apex fans familiar with the Titanfall franchise not to reminisce on guns from the past and want them equipped in their Battle Royale games.

The devs aren't against bringing them over, with the CAR SMG being a standout example and a powerhouse in the hands of a talented player. However, now Titanfall fans want Respawn to reintroduce the big guns, including a giant grenade launcher.

Titanfall fans want T-203 Thermite Launcher in Apex Legends

Taking to the Apex Legends subreddit, user u/blubberpuppers has called on Respawn to commemorate Titanfall with the addition of the T-203 Thermite Launcher. For those who are unaware, this bulky weapon was a single-shot thermite grenade launcher from Titanfall 2 that packed a punch.

Setting ablaze anything in its path, this would be a brilliant AoE weapon for controlling space and forcing squads out of cover. There's no doubt it would be top-tier in endgame circles, where players are pushed into tight positions with very little room to manoeuvre.

This isn't the first time Apex fans have asked for a grenade launcher, and with the title passing its fourth anniversary, the community are desperate to start firing explosives in their matches.

The elephant in the room with adding the T-203 Thermite Launcher to Apex and likely the reason a grenade launcher is not on the arsenal just yet is balance.

Finding a way to ensure the gun isn't absurdly OP would be tough, but fans have suggested it should be a "Supply Drop Weapon." That way, at least it wouldn't be in the ground loot pool, and the devs could control how many of them appear in a match.

While this idea is a long shot, it would go down a treat with the community. It's just whether Resppawn would want to take a risk adding such a devastating weapon to Battle Royale.
