North American esports organisation 100 Thieves have announced their first VALORANT roster. Ahead of the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown, in which the new roster will participate in, 100T recruited of four additional players to complete their roster.

The starting roster will look as follows:

Spencer "Hiko" Martin

Keane "Valliate" Alonso

Zachary "Venerated" Roach

Diondre "YaBoiDre" Bond

Alfred "Pride" Choi

On the surface, the selection surprised as the signings entailed three former professional PUBG players in Venerated, YaBoiDre and Pride. However, the four of them had competed under the team name “Highground” for roughly two months during the beta with decent success. It is, however, still a point of note that the organisation opted to go with a roster of yet relatively unproven talent instead of established players with a better track record either in CSGO or in the VALORANT beta.

They will be joining up with CSGO veteran Hiko, who had been named captain of the 100T VALORANT roster in the beginning of June. Initially playing with the T1 core of Brax, AZK and Skadoodle during the beta, Hiko was tasked to scout out and help the VALORANT roster for the organisation.

You can catch the team in their first tournament tomorrow, as they will be competing in the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown starting at 2PM EST / 8PM CEST.
