The items you need to collect in order to craft the Draugr Fang are;

  • Ancient bark x10
  • Silver x20
  • Deer hide x2
  • Guck x10

Most of these are quite simple to get. Ancient Bark comes from Ancient Trees, which are quite common in swamps. You simply need to inspect trees until you find an Ancient Tree, then cut it down with an axe to get the Ancient Bark you need.

Deer hide is fairly self-explanatory, you need to hunt some deer. Guck is a bit more tricky, but is thankfully easy to spot. Like the Ancient Trees, these can be found in swamps, attached to the trees. What you are looking for is glowing green objects stuck to trees, called Guck Sacks. They can be difficult to get to, but with some ladders or platforms, you can build a way up. Break the sacks to get the Guck you need.

Finding Silver for the Draugr Fang Bow in Valheim

The last thing you need is Silver, and plenty of it. If you haven't gotten Silver before, you will first need an Iron Pickaxe, and a Wishbone from the Bonemass boss.

You will also need to go up into the mountains for this, so be sure to bring some Frost-Resistance Mead or other items to help with the cold.

Once you are up in the mountains, use the Wishbone to locate a Silver deposit. The Wishbone will cause a string of light to fly out of your character when you are close to Silver, which is always below ground. The faster the flashes, the closer you are, so move around until the flashes speed up.

When the flashes are happening quite quickly and moving around no longer speeds them up, start digging. Use your pickaxe to dig down into the ground, and you should find a Silver Vein. Now you can use your pickaxe to mine the Silver.

With the materials gathered, head to your Workbench and craft the Draugr Fang Bow.
