Serial Cleaners is set for release very soon as we write this, and as the sequel to a little known indie game, it's looking to build upon that foundation with a different graphic style, enhanced gameplay, more characters, and much more. Serial Cleaners is a stealth game where players work for the mob and discreetly clean up crime scenes to vanish the crimes of their employers. So if you want to learn the Serial Cleaners release date, and everything you need to know about the game before playing, we've got you covered.

Serial Cleaners Release Date

Serial Cleaners is set to release on September 22, which is just over a week away as of writing this. The original game was released way back in July 2017, meaning it will be over five years between the release of both games. Initially, Serial Cleaners was pegged for an early 2022 release date, but the first part of the year came and went without a release, before the September 22 date was announced.

Serial Cleaners Trailers

The first trailer for Serial Cleaners dropped back in 2020, during the Future Games Show for E3. It showed off gameplay of the first game and a narrator spoke about its success after selling over one million copies, before switching to a different art style and a 90s setting. The rest of the trailer follows an animation of someone driving a car while jazz music climaxes, before finally showing a snippet of gameplay.

The new few trailers were dedicated to showing off the new graphics, gameplay, and some of the maps you'll be cleaning up. Later on came the character trailers which detailed the four playable characters who all have distinct looks, personalities, and abilities when it comes to making sure a crime scene is spotless. Since then, we've not had much apart from trailers that seek to show off the full package.

Serial Cleaners is primarily a stealth game where players are tasked with cleaning up various crime scenes for their mob boss. The idea is to cut up and dispose of bodies, clean up blood trails, and collect CCTV footage, all while avoiding the police and escaping before they can find you. You are able to choose one of four characters to play as when going into a mission, who all come with unique skill sets that allow you to play each mission differently. For example, one of the characters is able to hack computers which can be used to open locked doors or distract guards.

Serial Cleaners Platforms

Serial Cleaners is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
