Will Rogue Legacy 2 Be On Game Pass?

Right now at the launch of the game, it does not seem like Rogue Legacy 2 is coming to Game Pass any time soon. The game is a console exclusive to Xbox systems, as currently there is no word on the game coming to Playstation or Nintendo consoles. While it feels right to have the return of an Xbox classic on Xbox consoles, it is strange that it does not appear on the Game Pass service.

Perhaps Cellar Door Games and Xbox are confident the game will sell well on its own. It is available on the Xbox store for £20.99, and if you are quick it is on sale at launch for just £16.79. Even at full price, Rogue Legacy 2 is a fantastic deal, especially for fans of the original.

Speaking of the original, the first Rogue Legacy has yet to appear on Game Pass, which is either a damning statement on the potential of seeing these games on the service, or perhaps they will be added together somewhere down the line.

Xbox Game Pass is chock-full of indie and rogue-lite games, basically a bunch of games very similar to Rogue Legacy 2. RL2 would be a perfect fit for Game Pass, and it would honestly be surprising if the game never makes its way onto the service. Perhaps we just need to be a little bit more patient.
