Complet the Take Up Arms story mission
The Cryo Freeze Ammo can be earned as a reward via the Act 1 story mission, Take Up Arms. Here, you'll need to purchase a primary weapon from a Mystery Box and get fifty kills using the weapon.
After doing all the objectives, the Cryo Freeze Ammo will be available in your acquisition stash. However, if you die while having the Cryo Freeze ammo equipped, it will be lost forever.
Loot Aether Caches
Aether caches are also places where you can find Cryo Freeze Ammo along with other ammo types. These are generally located in Aether Nests and Infested Strongholds.
