It can be hard to find the MW2 DMZ sensitive documents and smuggling records location, but it's an important part of completing the tier four White Lotus faction mission called Caved In. The Warzone 2 DMZ game mode is an extraction shooter that gives players a more hardcore alternative to the standard MW2 modes, that’s based on Escape From Tarkov.

With so many different missions to complete in this mode, you may need some aid from time to time. So, check out where to find the Warzone 2 DMZ sensitive documents & smuggling records location.

Where are the sensitive documents and smuggling records in MW2 DMZ?

The tier four mission where you need to find the sensitive documents and smuggling records in Warzone 2 DMZ is called Caved In. This mission requires players to do the following:

  • Find the smuggling records
  • Enter the Sattiq Caves by riverside
  • Place the documents at the dead drop

All the tasks are fairly straightforward, but it does require you to track down documents in a large map, and sometimes the mission can bug at the end.

For the first part, you will need to deploy and then find the sensitive documents. They aren't located in any one place, and you will need to search until you get lucky enough to find them, however, there are some locations where they seem to be more common.

The Sawah Hotel in Sawah Village, any office buildings, and the police stations are good places to look for the sensitive documents, and you should quickly pick up the documents.

Once you've claimed the documents, things get a bit more specific. You'll need to enter the Sattiq Caves POI by the riverside caves, using a boat. This is the only way to complete this task, and you'll need to travel deep into the caves by boat for the objective to register as complete. Once this is done, depart with the boat and track down the hut with the smuggling records inside.

The hut you need to find is located next to some light fixtures, and should be facing west when you come across it after entering from the riverside area.

With the sensitive documents, enter the hut and place them down inside, where the smuggling records are located.

There's a well known bug that can occur during this part, causing the objective not to register when you place down the sensitive documents. If you keep placing them down, it should fix itself, but you may have to restart over again if it's not working.

If all goes well, you will be able to complete the objective and finish the Caved In mission for the White Lotus faction.

That's all for our explainer of how to find the Warzone 2 DMZ sensitive documents and smuggling records, and now you can complete the Caved In mission.

You may also wonder what's inside MW2 DMZ Building 21, which is one of the deadliest places on the map due to its loot.
