Like most soulslikes, Lords of the Fallen has multiple endings that you can get by completing certain tasks or not doing specific things in the game. If you want to know how to obtain all of the endings in Lords of the Fallen, we’ll tell you all you need to know about how to get them and which one is considered the best ending.

If you find yourself struggling to complete all of these steps, you can always summon in a fellow Lampbearer or friend to help you through those particularly tough spots, such as a boss you're having difficulty with.

Here are all of the endings in Lords of the Fallen.

How to get all Lords of the Fallen endings

In total, there are three endings to get. They are named the Radiant ending, Adyr ending and Umbral ending. Technically speaking, the Radiant ending is the best ending that you can get in the game. Not only that, but it’s the easiest ending that you can receive in the game, as it has the least amount of steps.

How to get the Radiance ending (Best ending)

In order to get the Radiance ending, all you have to do is cleanse all five of the beacons that you find throughout the game. Once you’ve done that, defeat Adyr, and you’ve unlocked the Radiance Ending!

The beacons are easy to spot, as there is a bright light beaming into the sky. They are found in the following areas:

  • Forsaken Fen
  • Upper Calrath
  • Tower of Penance
  • Fief of the Chill Curse
  • The Empyrean

How to get the Adyr ending (Bad ending)

In order to get the Adyr ending, you have to complete a specific order of steps. This starts relatively late in the game when you get to Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.

  • Acquire the Rune of Adyr in Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
  • Continue through the game until you’ve beat the Sundered Monarch in Bramis Castle
  • Talk to the Effigy of Adyr so that you can upgrade the Rune of Adyr to the Empowered Rune of Adyr
  • Destroy all five beacons in each of their respective areas
  • Defeat Judge Cleric at the Empyrean
  • Talk to the woman in front of the beacon to enter her mind
  • Speak to Iselle using the Empowered Rune of Adyr

How to get the Umbral ending (Secret ending)

This ending requires you to kill certain NPCs which will lock you out of being able to view their inventories or shops. You also want to avoid cleansing the beacons for this ending.

  • Defeat Harrower Dervla the Pledged Knight and The Unbroken Promise in the Revelation Depths
  • Investigate the well in the boss arena
  • Go to Skyrest Bridge and buy the Scouring Clump from Molhu
  • Use the Scouring Clump at the well to travel into Mother’s Lull
  • Interact with the friendly NPC here to get Damarose’s Seedpod
  • Go to Pilgrim’s Perch and use the Seedpod on Damarose to kill her
  • Return to Mother’s Lull and speak to the next friendly NPC so that you can get Gerlinde’s Seedpod
  • Assuming you’ve rescued Gerlinde from Pilgrim’s Perch, head to Skyrest Bridge and use the Seedpod on her
  • Beat the Lightreaper outside Bramis Castle. Don’t light any beacons
  • Go to Skyrest Bridge and into Molhu’s room where you’ll be able to plant the Lightreaper’s parasite into a column
  • Return to Mother’s Lull to find the next NPC for Melchior’s Seedpod
  • Obtain the Rune of Adyr in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
  • Take the Rune of Adyr and give it to the NPC in Mother’s Lull to get the Withered Rune of Adyr
  • Defeat the Sundered Monarch and use the Seedpod on Melchior’s body
  • Return to the Fief of the Chill Curse and go into the Umbral realm and you can speak with the Iron Wayfarer
  • Use the Withered Rune of Adyr on him to get Harkyn’s Umbral Parasite
  • Return to Skyrest Bridge to place the Parasite on the column in Molhu’s room
  • Talk to Molhu
  • Soulflay Pieta to get Pieta’s Umbral Parasite
  • Fight Elianne the Starved (you’ll be teleported to her)
  • Retrieve Elianne’s Umbral Parasite
  • Use the Parasite in Molhu’s room to place it on a column
  • Speak to Molhu and select “Enter Mother’s Lull”
  • Cross the platforms in Mother’s Lull to get the Umbral ending

Those are all of the endings available in Lords of the Fallen. The Umbral ending is quite a hard ending to get, as you have to commit to so many steps in the game. Good luck!
