Fortnite Soundwave Series: Gen Hoshino | Lineup

The Soundwave Series first kicked off back in October 2021 with a performance by famed Egyptian artist Mohamed Hamaki. In the time since, we've enjoyed memorable shows from Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I and Brazilian rapper Emicida.

Next up for their turn in the spotlight is Japanese pop artist and music producer, Gen Hoshino.

Prepare to get in touch with your feelings, as Gen Hoshino's show is advertised as a "highly emotional performance". Gen Hoshino's interactive Fortnite experience drops players into a space that evolves on the fly. The colours, scenery, and activities will transform to match the mood and vibe.

Gen Hoshino's hit song, "Koi", from his esteemed album Pop Virus, is a focal point of the setlist. Throughout the show, players will have the opportunity to perform the Koi Dance Emote, a replica of the viral “Koi Dance” from the song's music video.

Rounding out the lineup of Soundwave Series artists is French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura. Further details on the Aya Nakamura Soundwave Series show will be revealed in the coming months.
