The Fortnite TMNT Phase 4 quests have gone live, and one of them requires you to land at a Hot Spot. As is tradition, the quest will reward you with a certain amount of TMNT tokens upon completion that you can eventually use to unlock rewards in the game.

If you’re having a hard time completing this quest in Fortnite, worry not, as I've got you covered with this comprehensive guide to help you land at a Hot Spot in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

What is a Hot Spot in Fortnite?

A Hot Spot is a named location highlighted in golden colour on a Fortnite map. Hot Spots are randomly selected in every match, and you'll find a bunch of drones flying around upon landing.

These drones usually carry high-rarity loot, along with essential supplies such as Medkits, Shield Potions, and more. It's important to note that there can be one to three Hot Spots per match, and their locations change with each match.

How do you land at a Hot Spot in Fortnite?

The easiest way to land at Hot Spots in Fortnite is to open your map and look for the location names that are in gold letters. These are the Hot Spots for the current match, and you will need to land directly at one of these POIs from the Battle Bus.

However, it’s worth noting that this quest is currently bugged in the game, as many players have reported that the game isn’t counting the progress even after landing at a Hot Spot. I decided to try completing this Fortnite challenge and faced the same issue.

Thankfully, I've found a workaround that helped me complete this TMNT quest. The first step is to hop into the Team Rumble mode in Fortnite and farm plenty of building materials.

Once you do that, craft a large ramp at a Hot Spot location and jump from the top. Since you can redeploy your gliders in Fortnite Team Rumble, the challenge will be marked as complete once you successfully land on the ground from the ramp.
