Fortnite Hiding Places: Where To Destroy Hiding Places In Chapter 3 Season 1
Fortnite hiding places are special objects that players can use to conceal themselves and stow away in plain sight. One of Week 9's Seasonal quests tasks Fortnite players with destroying five of these hiding places. But what good is a Fortnite hiding place if they're easy to spot? Here's what you need to know, including what counts as a Fortnite hiding place and where and how to destroy them.
Fortnite Hiding Places: What Are Hiding Places?
Click to enlargeFortnite hiding places are objects in-game that you can jump inside and hide within. These hiding places look like your normal everyday structure from the outside, however, when approached, you'll get a prompt to "hide".
The objects that can secretly be hiding places are:
- Dumpsters
- Porta-Potties
- Hay Piles
Approach these rather inconspicuous structures and see if you get an option to hide inside. If you do, it's considered a Fortnite hiding place.
Fortnite Hiding Places: Where And How To Destroy Hiding Places
Click to enlargeConveniently, Fortnite hiding places are scattered across the entire island. There are not many points of interest that don't contain at least one or two hiding places in their perimeter.
While you'll stumble across hiding places everywhere, there's one spot in particular where you can destroy three hiding places all at once. At The Devoured landmark east of Fortnite Tilted Towers sits a small shack. Outside, there are three porta-potties lined up that all serve as hiding places.
From here, the closest hiding places are at Tilted Towers. If you'd prefer to stay away from that chaos, you can head down south-east to the large gas station north-east of Rocky Reels. There are three more hiding places dispersed around this area.
Smack five total Fortnite hiding places with your pickaxe until they break to complete this Week 9 Seasonal quest. But watch out — destroying a hiding place will expose any enemy players stashed inside. Don't get caught by a surprise attack!
