Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 will once again see weapons vaulted and unvaulted. The start of a new season in Fortnite is always a time when the meta shifts, with new weapons and mechanics being introduced, as well as a number of weapons being sent into the vault or dusted off from it. But if you are worried that you might fall behind - don't - as our guide to all the vaulted and unvaulted weapons/items in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 will get you caught up in one of these areas.

If you are unsure, it is worth going over exactly what vaulting means when it comes to Fortnite

At the start of each season, Epic Games implements balance changes across a range of weaponry, and while that sometimes means the damage output or fire rate being modified, it can also involve the "vaulting" of weapons - being removed entirely from the loot pool - or conversely, the unvaulting of weapons - their return to the loot pool having previously been vaulted.

Almost every weapon has had its time in the vault, even ones like the pump shotgun that fans would never want to see the back of, but for the developers, this is all part of the game and vital to keep the gameplay fresh.

Below, we have outlined all the weapons heading to the vault as well as weapons making a return to Fortnite and new weapons. This is not the complete list of all vaulted and unvaulted weapons as they may be more to come.
