One of the most enjoyable aspects of a Career Mode in EA FC 24 is finding out who the best wonderkids are, signing them early, and setting your squad up for years to come.

Identifying wonderkids can be quite tricky though and requires adept scouting, but thankfully we've done the hard work for you and collated the top U21 players in the game that you can sign for your team today. So, check out the list below for all of the best wonderkids in EA FC 24, letting you deck out your Career Mode playthrough with the top U21 players of the future.

Best wonderkids in for Career Mode in EA FC 24

Below are all the best wonderkids in EA FC 24 for each position. In each table, we will outline where they are currently playing as well as well as their potential in-game - with the highest potential players at the top.

Best Goalkeeper wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Guillame Restes (Toulouse) 18 72 87
Bart Verbruggen (Brighton) 20 75 85
Anatoliy Trubin (Benfica) 21 77 85
Maarten Vandervoordt (Genk) 21 75 85
Dennis Seimen (VfB Stuttgart) 17 61 84
James Trafford (Burnley) 20 71 84
Elia Caprile (Empoli) 21 72 84
Lucas Chevalier (Lille) 21 78 84
Sebastiano Desplanches (Palermo) 20 68 83
Andre Gomes (Benfica) 18 63 83

Goalkeepers get better with age, but there are a few notable choices on the above list who will be able to secure their place in your squad quickly. Chevalier at Lille looks like a great signing, but it is worth remembering that players can exceed their potential if they perform and train well so they may always go higher.

Best Right Back wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Arnau Martínez (Girona) 20 80 87
Rico Lewis (Manchester City) 18 73 87
Fresneda (Sporting) 18 72 85
Malo Gusto (Chelsea) 20 76 85
Kyriani Sabbe (Brugge) 18 66 84
Tino Livramento (Newcastle United) 20 75 84
Yan Couto (Girona) 21 75 84
Conor Bradley (Liverpool) 19 69 83
Amar Dedic (RB Salzburg) 20 73 83
Hector Fort (Barcelona) 16 68 82

The right-back options have some cracking players like Martinez and Fresneda. Unfortunately, players like Lewis and Gusto will be hard to sign as they are at such established clubs - although every player on this list will set you up in that position for years.

Best Left Back wonderkids

Player Age Overall Potential
Alejandro Balde (Barcelona)
19 81 89
Jorrel Hato (Ajax)
17 68 87
Nuno Mendes (PSG) 21 82 87
Destiny Udogie (Spurs) 20 78 86
Patrick Dorgu (Lecce) 18 64 85
Björn Meijier (Brugge) 20 73 85
Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth) 19 75 85
Valentín Barco (Boca Juniors) 18 71 84
Sebastian Borza (Rapid Bucuresti) 17 67 83
Jeanuël Belocian (Rennes) 18 68 83

Once again, the players who are already at established clubs are going to be incredibly difficult to sign - however, there are a few gems still on the list. Most notably, Kerkez who recently joined Bournemouth and Meijier at Brugge look like two exceptional young fullbacks, who you won't have to break the bank for.

Best Defensive Midfielder wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG) 17 78 90
Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) 20 82 89
Arthur Vermeeren (Antwerp) 18 75 87
Noah Lahmadi (Toulouse) 18 65 86
Pablo Barrios (Atletico Madrid) 20 76 86
Stefan Bajcetic (Liverpool) 18 72 86
Romeo Lavia (Chelsea) 19 73 86
Nico Rovella (Lazio) 21 77 86
Samuele Ricci (Torino) 21 76 86
Archie Gray (Leeds) 17 67 85

Defensive Midfielders have become a very valuable commodity in recent years with players like Rice and Caicedo going for fees exceeding £100 million. For that reason, you may need to search a little for a cheaper alternative or be willing to develop a player like Antwerps Vermeeren. Unfortunately, the top two players on the list will be near unobtainable but Ricci and Gray could be great additions to any midfield.

Best Central Midfielder wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Pedri (Barcelona) 20 86 92
Gavi (Barcelona) 18 83 90
Gabri Veiga (Al Ahli) 21 78 89
Fabio Miretti (Juventus) 19 75 88
Joao Neves (Benfica) 18 73 87
Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool) 21 79 87
Martin Baturina (Dinamo Zagreb) 20 74 86
Lennon Miller (Motherwell) 16 59 86
Lewis Miley (Newcastle United) 17 64 85
Hugo Larsson (Eintracht Frankfurt) 19 71 85

The top two players on the list will be untouchable, unless of course, you start a save with Barcelona. Bringing Gabri Veiga back from Saudi Arabia could be a lot of fun and would set up your midfield for years, whilst the rest of the list also has some great players you could build your team around.

Best Central Attacking Midfielders wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich) 20 86 93
Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen) 20 86 91
Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) 20 87 91
Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig) 20 81 89
Arda Güler (Real Madrid) 18 77 88
Tommaso Baldanzi (Empoli) 20 77 87
Bilal El Khannouss (Genk) 19 73 87
Claudio Echeverri (River Plate) 17 65 86
Simone Pafundi (Udinese) 17 67 86
Desire Doue (Rennes) 18 71 86

Realistically, you won't be signing anyone from the top 5 players on this list, but Tommaso Baldanzi from Empoli could be an absolute steal, has plenty of potential, and is already good enough to start. Outside of that, El Khannouss will also be a great addition. If you can afford someone from the top of the list though it is hard to look past Wirtz and Xavi Simons, despite the sheer potential of both Musiala and Bellingham.

Best Left Winger wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Ansu Fati (Barcelona) 20 78 88
Karim Adeyemi (Borussia Dortmund) 21 80 87
Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) 19 74 87
Antonio Nusa (Brugge) 19 71 87
Yeremy Pino (Villarreal) 20 79 87
Savio (Girona) 19 77 86
Arsen Zakharyan (Real Sociedad) 20 75 86
Andreas Schjeelderup (Nordsjælland) 19 72 86
Mika Godts (Ajax) 18 66 84
Jakub Kaminski (Wolfsburg) 21 74 84

The above list of players should have something for everyone, with all of the players except for Garnacho being very obtainable. For me, if I was looking for a left winger I would go for either Nusa or Savoy - both players offer a lot including blistering pace, which really helps to drag teams wide.

Best Striker wonderkids

Name Age Overall Potential
Rasmus Holjund (Manchester United) 20 77 89
Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich) 18 73 88
Youssoufa Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund) 18 77 87
Nelson Weiper (Mainz) 18 66 86
Evan Ferguson (Brighton) 18 74 86
Elise Ben Saghir (Monaco) 18 72 85
Alejo Veliz (Spurs) 19 75 85
Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig) 20 76 85
Elle Wahi (RC Lens) 20 78 85
Florian Balogun (Monaco) 21 79 85

The list of top striker wonderkids will improve any frontline and will no doubt bag plenty of goals once you start playing them. My favourite player on the list is Brighton's Evan Ferguson who is already scoring plenty of goals as a complete striker. If you want a very physical striker, then Benjamin Seiko will be your best bet as his height of 6'4" will bully pretty much any defence.

Best Right Winger wonderkids

Bukayo Saka in EA FC 24

Name  Age Overall Potential
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) 21 86 90
Johan Bakayoko (PSV) 20 76 87
Carlos Forbs (Ajax) 19 72 86
Angelo (Strasbourg) 18 69 86
Ernest Nuamuh (Lyon) 19 72 86
Abdul Fatawu (Leicester) 19 71 86
Matias Soule (Frosinone) 20 73 86
Nico Williams (Athletic Club) 20 81 86
Jeremy Doku (Manchester City) 21 78 86
Roony Bardghji (København) 17 70 85

Much like the left-wingers, there are plenty of great players you can pick up. Roony Bardghji is already setting the world on fire in Denmark and will be a household name in a few years, whilst Bakayoko and Nuamah should be very affordable options for the right-hand side.
