The Endless Dungeon release date has been officially announced as October 19, 2023, delayed from the originally announced May release date.

Pre-ordering the 'Last Wish' special edition of the game however will grant you entry into the closed beta, and 48 hours early access, bringing the release date forward to May 16. If you're really excited about the game and can't wait any longer, that might be the right edition to go for.

Endless Dungeon is a three-way hybrid between rogue-lite, tactical, and tower defence mechanics, giving you an exciting challenge within every run. You're tasked with protecting a crystal from endless waves of space monsters, and if you die you'll be sent straight back to the beginning.

You're able to tackle the challenge on your own if you're feeling strong enough, but you can also pair up with two other friends for three-player co-op if you want a helping hand in the horrors of space.

There are many different weapons to choose from, letting you take down the monsters in whatever way you can imagine. You might find just as much enjoyment just taking down your foes with the different tools as you would from escaping through The Core, but the choice is up to you.

There is also an abundance of secrets to find, especially as you delve deeper into the Station towards The Core. You will want to peer into every corner to uncover the mysteries of space - when you have downtime from monster slaying, of course.

Endless Dungeon trailers

There are a couple of trailers out there at the moment, but the best one to look at first if you're wanting to find out more about the game is definitely the gameplay trailer. It gives you the full details of what you'll be up to on the station, going over the different rules you'll need to keep in mind in order to survive.

There is also the announcement trailer if you're wanting a more cinematic approach to the world that Endless Dungeon is set within. There is no gameplay footage within this trailer, but it does give you a better idea of the setting and mood that Amplitude Studios are going for.
