Love it or hate it, the Warzone gun meta has just been served up on a silver platter and smashed into smithereens. The AUG and FFAR composition is now a thing of the past, as Raven Software recently rolled out a nerf for both weapons. With the red carpet rolled out for a new warrior, up stepped the brand-new Modern Warfare Sykov pistol.

Implemented on April 15, the Sykov pistols were exclusive to Modern Warfare and Warzone, and have been the only weapon to be added to the previous instalment of Call of Duty since Black Ops Cold War was introduced.

As the most unlikely of sources, unless you've had your eyes on recent leaks, the Sykov pistol is now the most ridiculous gun in Warzone, should you know how to build it - or them.

The pistol has some seriously overpowering attachments available, but also some deceivingly pointless ones. Many loadouts will advise equipping a Trigger modifier, although it is quickly rendered irrelevant by the Akimbo perk, meaning the enhanced trigger now makes no difference in the fire rate.

Sykov Pistol Warzone Loadout Attachments

  • Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel - Sorokin 140mm Auto
  • Rear Grip - VLK Elita
  • Ammunition - 80 Round Drums
  • Perk - Akimbo

The Akimbo perk combined with the Sorokin 140mm Auto barrel makes these Warzone Sykov pistols deadly. With an insane fire rate and a huge 80-Round Drum magazine, using these will feel like you're raining bullets on your opponents. The Monolithic Suppressor adds to the range and keeps you off the radar, only taking away from ADS speed which is also rendered irrelevant due to the Akimbo perk. Finally, the bonus recoil control of the VLK Elita rear grip will help to control the chaos, although you'll never be able to tame the beasts from within.

After just mere hours in the game, players have already been slapping the nerf card on the table, with these weapons being seriously dangerous.

Best of luck out there, and welcome to Sykovzone.
