Contributing to Larian Studio's intricate production process, Baldur's Gate 3 has an impressive number of characters, all of which are fully voiced with some fairly well-known voice actor talent.
Whether it's one of your companions or one of the many unlikely characters you meet in the world of Baldur's Gate 3, it's quite likely that you'll recognise a voice or two on your travels.
As such, we've listed a complete list of the English voice actor cast for Baldur's Gate 3, so you can put a name to the voice of someone you've heard in-game. We'll also go over where you might have spotted some of these people before, as there are a couple of Hollywood stars who make an appearance.

Baldur's Gate 3 main cast
Narrator - Amelia Tyler
Amelia Tyler has plenty of voice credits in video games, with roles in Larian's previous game Divinity: Original Sin II, and titles like Metal: Hellsinger, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, We Happy Few, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and much more.
Astarion - Neil Newbon

Shadowheart - Jennifer English
Baldur's Gate 3 is Jennifer English's breakout role, but she was previously in Elden Ring as Latenna, and Divinity: Original Sin 2 as Leya.
Lae-zel - Devora Wilde
Devora Wilde's first game role was playing The Beholder in Stellaris, and since then she's gone on to star as Tzarina in Total War: Warhammer III and Nika in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Wyll - Theo Solomon
Theo Solomon's only video game role so far has been in BG3, but he has previously starred in TV series like Temple, Enterprice, and Doctors.
Gale - Tim Downie

Karlach - Samantha Béart
Samantha Béart has acted in various games like Troy: A Total War Saga, Age of Wonders III, Demon's Souls, but she became notable for playing Thomasina in The Excavation of Hob's Barrow in 2022.
Minsc - Matthew Mercer
Matthew Mercer is voice acting royalty who is most known as the Dungeon Master in the popular web series Critical Role. Outside of this he has starred as Levi in Attack on Titan, Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 6, Goro Majima in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and much more we can't list here.
Jaheira - Tracy Wiles
Tracy Wiles is a veteran of radio, stage, and TV, having appeared in Doctors, Holby City, EastEnders, Top Boy. In the gaming world, she also voiced many characters in the Divinity: Original Sin games, along with Diablo 4.
General Ketheric Thorm - J.K. Simmons
Click to enlargeJ.K. Simmons is an Academy Award-winning actor most known for playing J. Jonah Jameson in various Spider-Man films, Terence Fletcher in Whiplash, and Vernin Schillinger in Oz. He's no stranger to voice acting either, with his most notable gaming role being Cave Johnson in Portal 2.
Lord Enver Gortash - Jason Isaacs
Jason Isaacs is another world-famous actor, most notable for playing Lucius malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, William Tavington in The Patriot, and Marshal Georgy Zhukov in The Death of Stalin. He also portrayed Brainiac, the main antagonist in 2024's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Orin the Red - Maggie Robertson
Maggie Robertson rose to fame for portraying Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village. Since then, she's had roles in God of War: Ragnarok and The Lamplighters League.
