Streamer and rapper Faheem "T-Pain" Najm is reported to be owed $40,000 from a seemingly liquidated esports company. However, it appears he is not the only one.

No one can deny that T-Pain is one hell of a talented guy. Having made his name as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, the 37-year-old has worked his way to the top. While he may be best-known for featuring in Flo Rida's classic 'Low', what many may not know is that he is also a huge game fan, particularly Call Of Duty. However, he's not afraid to call out his fellow players for "racist" behaviour.

Yet, as of writing, is still yet to comment on reports that he is owed $40,000 from a particular esports company. Only problem is, the organisation appears to have gone into liquidation.

Which Esports Organisation Apparently Owes T-Pain Money?

Esports commentator Jake Lucky first began to circulate the rumours that T-Pain is owed money by a certain organisation, Noble. In the tweet, Lucky said: "I have been told that legendary artist and Twitch streamer T-Pain is owed upwards of $40,000 from NobleGG for help promoting their Nobility tournament..."

The report follows rumours that Noble has gone into liquidation, but has also left a number of its employees without pay. Posting a 'farewell letter' on Twitter, the organisation's former partnership manager, Dan Goodman, accused Noble and its owner, Kyle McDougal, of not paying certain staff members along with T-Pain.

A number of people who claimed to be former employees of Noble also claimed that they had not only hasn't received due pay, but also been treated poorly by Goodman and the organisation in general. For example, one former employee, known as "hayley" claimed: "I worked at Noble 6 months ago and received late payments and was told "dirty laundry" could do my job better than I could. I never went public bc I was afraid it would impact my ability to get another job in the scene."

Has Noble Responded To The Claims?

As the rumours of the pay troubles going on behind the scenes at Noble, McDougal responded via Twitter on February 8. In the letter, McDougal said: "This is tough to write, I never thought in a million years we would get to this point." Claiming that Noble was having financial struggles with PayPal, McDougal claimed: "It was not on my mind to mess around with anyone's pay-check at all and I hope everyone involved can believe me on that. For those of you that felt harmed, I sincerely apologise but that was not my intention in the slightest."

As of writing, T-Pain hasn't responded to the rumours. Sadly, this isn't the first time that there haven't been disputes over paychecks, and it certainly won't be the last.
