SARPBC was the original version of Rocket League before Pysonix revamped the game to become what it is today, improving the graphics drastically alongside the mechanics and the overall smoothness.

But TikTok user 'RocketLeagueReplays' recently stumbled upon an Easter egg which allows players to take a trip down memory lane, changing the loading screen of Rocket League to the original SARPBC screen with the nostalgic music.

By pressing the following on your controller D-pad, you can change the loading screen to that of the 2008 version.

  • Up x 2
  • Down x 2
  • Left, Right x 2
  • B
  • A
  • Start/Enter

Pressing start/enter again it will take you to the Rocket League menu, with all the same options as normal, but the original SARPBC music.

The Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars Easter Egg has been around for five years, since they made the transition to Rocket League back in 2015, but has flown under the radar, surprising many long-time fans.
