Riot Forge Announce Ruined King: A League Of Legends Story

In the midst of the LoL Worlds Finals 2020, Riot Forge have dropped the details about a brand-new League Of Legends story game: Ruined King.

Riot Forge are bringing fans a new story from Runeterra, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is coming early 2021.

The turn-based single-player RPG is an interactive experience, and is narrative-driven, following the story of unlikely friends. The first of its kind from Riot, the game's description on Steam is as follows.

"Rise Against Ruin

Unite a party of League of Legends Champions, explore Bilgewater and set sail for the Shadow Isles to uncover the secrets of the deadly Black Mist.

Developed by Airship Syndicate and featuring the art style of legendary comic book artist Joe Madureira, creators of Battle Chasers and Darksiders, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is the first Riot Forge game that invites you to explore the League of Legends universe. In this immersive turn-based RPG, you will have the freedom to configure your party and control an unlikely group of League of Legends champions, explore the bustling city of Bilgewater and the mysterious Shadow Isles, and experience the Lane Initiative System."

Characters like Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke will feature.

Ruined King will be available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and available on Steam and The Epic Games Store for PC. The game will also be coming to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
