Well, that didn't take you long, did it? Proving that Rule 34 is in full effect, randy gamers have created their own nude Resident Evil 4 remake mods just days after it was released.

You can keep your PlayStation 5 or Xbox versions of a game, we all know the real fun is a AAA title releasing on PC so we can mod Shrek, Elmo, and Homer Simpson to it. Elden Ring was one of the best examples of this, with the fan-favourite Thomas the Tank Engine popping up in the Lands Between.

Speaking of the loco locomotive, the Resident Evil games are no stranger to Thomas. Remember when the Resident Evil Village demo was modded to swap Lady Dimitrescu's face with Thomas the Tank Engine? When it comes to the RE4 remake, though, you've got a little more risque.

Be warned, nude mods have hit the Resident Evil 4 remake

We've previously seen Doctor Salvador turn into Shrek, but until recently, RE4 hadn't lived up to its 18+ rating in the nudity department. The Resiverse has been called out for over-sexualised characters in the past, and now, the modders aren't helping.

While we obviously won't show any graphic content here, be warned that both NexusMods and Playground.ru have plenty of nude Resident Evil 4 mods to spice up your trip through rural Spain. A particularly fruity one has Leon S. Kennedy whipping his package out. And we thought he only had one dagger to fight with 👀.

The "Nude Leon (Chainsaw Demo)" mod has been downloaded 295 times. There's also a nude Ashley mod, which is pretty awkward given her child-like appearance. The 2005 release was famously called out for Ashley's creepy flirting, especially as the game didn't make it clear she's supposed to be 20 years old.

Playground.ru's naked Ashley mods leave her baring all and also seem to have enhanced her breasts. Given that Capcom went to so much effort to dial back Ashley's sexualisation, the team will likely be pretty p*ssed at these mods. We're also left asking, is this really needed?

Not all Resident Evil 4 remake mods are NSFW

It's a tale as old as time, with the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes of 2019 and 2020 getting a similar treatment for MVPs Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine. Village was also plagued by nude mods, meaning Chris Redfield didn't keep his clothes on for long and we even got a sexy Duke

On the more wholesome end of the spectrum, some costume mods give the likes of Leon and Ashley a wardrobe change. Despite Capcom's official release coming with plenty of choices for Leon, highlights include a mod that puts him in the Batsuit.

Mods like giving Leon a flamethrower and a playable Ada Wong are nothing more than a bit of fun, and if you want to change the look of your zombie apocalypse, the creative community has you covered with the Resident Evil 4 remake.
