G2 Esports continue to build their VALORANT roster in style, welcoming pyth to the team today.

Swedish-born Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi joins G2 along with Mixwell (Captain) and the recent addition paTiTek.

pyth retired from professional CS:GO in May 2020 to pursue VALORANT, and it looks like G2 Esports may just be the perfect home for the player.

pyth is without a doubt a legend of Counter-Strike, most notably competing with NiP between 2015 - 2017. After which he struggled to cement himself back to his former glory. Although unable to with a major with Ninjas in Pyjamas, pyth still put his name on a trophy following their IEM Oakland victory over SK Gaming shortly after their major win.

pyth seems to be excited about his journey into the pro VALORANT scene, posting the below tweet when the announcement was made by his new org.

Keep an eye out for pyth's upcoming performances in the VALORANT competitive scene.
