Even for those with their glass more than half full, the prospect of running massive multiplayer games on mobile can't seem promising.

Yet it looks like Apple might just be defying all expectations as they roll out the iPhone 15 Max, as it prepares to tackle Resident Evil titles and 150-player battle royales.

With Warzone Mobile in the works, many have doubted that a phone can hold the capacity to run so many players in one lobby, especially when most phones can't even hold four-person FaceTime calls nowadays.

Warzone Mobile is set to launch with a fully-functioning multiplayer mode, which will see the battle royale title also house Modern Warfare 2 6v6 maps like El Asilo.

Although this might seem somewhat pointless given Call of Duty: Mobile is an already-thriving game in that genre, it allows players to level up weapons in the title before dropping from the plane into Verdansk.

That won't mean the multiplayer will be half-assed either, and now early footage of the game has been released on the iPhone 15 Pro and fans are stunned.

One short clip of a Search and Destroy map has now been aired, and while it's still a little rough around the edges with some minor frame jumps, for the most part, it runs perfectly and is almost akin to the console variant.

"This actually looks insane and it’s not even a full release yet. This almost looks like the console version," one fan said in the comments.

Others continued to praise the footage and even began clearing it over the possible Nintendo Switch port.

The future also looks bright for CoD Mobile, as one fan has now shared footage of running the game through a controller emulator and projected on a big screen, and it appears to be equally impressive.

One of the only issues appears to be input delay, given the size of the screen, but on the phone screen itself, it would likely be much snappier and crisper.

So it looks like the new iPhone 15 Pro will be able to breeze running these massive titles, and could birth a whole new way to game.
