Could League of Legends (LoL) be gearing up for the release of Champion 152? There have been a few cryptic teasers of "Seraphine" on social media, fuelling speculation the next Champion will be dropped ahead of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship.

Brazilian streamer Streamie has already tipped the next Champion to be a "sensational mage" who could mean big things for LoL Season 10. Social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter have popped up for @seradotwav, showing off this mystery newcomer in all her bubblegum-haired beauty.

In her bio, Seraphine is described as an "aspiring songwriter [and] producer" with "big dreams". All signs point to her "sensational" nature coming from her musical talents. Anyone remember the criminally underrated Dazzler from the X-Men? Yeah, we're getting the same vibes. Speaking of singing, Seraphine's social media presence all ties back to Riot's multiplayer online battle arena video game.

Seraphine has her own SoundCloud, and if you head over to "seradotwav", you can hear her cover of Ary's "Childhood Dreams". It's interesting to note that Ary is signed to Universal Pictures Music Group, which just so happens to be the company that just partnered with Riot for Worlds. UMPG will create a series of unique songs for Worlds, that will be rolled out across the competition. It also sounds like a perfect time to unveil Seraphine and make her the tournament's official mascot.

Finally, the arrival of Seraphine would fit with Riot's Champion roadmap. Developers promised to "release one new champion per role each year" - starting from Season 10. Looking at 2020, we've already met Sett (top), Lillia (jungle), and Yone (mid). Marksman Samira is set to drop soon, meaning Seraphine would fill LoL's bot lane position for 2020.

Streamie claimed they had information on Seraphine back when they dropped their insider info on Samira, meaning she's been in the works for a while now. It looks increasingly likely Seraphine could arrive around Patch 10.20. If this is the case, her releasing a Worlds-themed song for Patch 10.24 would line up neatly. Ultimately, we're waiting to get the official nod from Riot, so don't get your hopes up just yet.
