Blizzard is having quite a fun time with Overwatch 2 at the moment, with the title being rather unbalanced, but in a good way. Even though hero metas are up in the air following waves of nerfs, buffs, and new additions, it's not a bad thing.

But amid the chaos, players want to at least look the part, as what's the point of dying if you can't look good doing it? Quite a lot of consideration is being put into skins and attire for Overwatch 2 players, and now, fans are realising that Blizzard has failed to deliver one of the most exciting aesthetic features yet...

Overwatch 2 devs have seemingly forgotten one legendary Battle of Olympus feature

Having recently rolled out some rather questionable and moist skins in recent weeks, some Overwatch 2 fans have remembered back to the January event "Battle for Olympus."

Throughout the event, Blizzard rolled out a number of godly skins to compliment the hero pool, with each boasting a nice Greek touch. But, it appears that the devs have forgotten one of the most sought-after features, failing to deliver on their promise.

The Battle for Olympus had a small side quest for players, and Blizzard announced that the hero with the most kills to their name throughout the event would get a "statue of Ilios." Yet after Junker Queen topped the charts with over 43 million kills, the statue is nowhere to be seen.

Overwatch 2 players demand Junker Queen Statue of Ilios

The Junker Queen statue is seemingly still in the archives somewhere, with no mention of it since Blizzard stopped the count. Rightly so, angry players are calling for its arrival.

"It's on the same hard drive as the PvE story missions bro trust me it's there," joked one fan on Reddit.

"Still can't believe they went through the effort of actively preventing lucio from winning and then didn't even add the Junker Queen statue lmao," added another fan, remembering the Lucio nerfs.

Previously, the developers have claimed that Battle for Olympus will be a revisited event, with the ancient Greek gods dominating Overwatch 2 again in the future, so players will likely see the Statue of Ilios Junker Queen at some point. However, it would have made a nice permanent feature.
