Rocket League is often discussed as the esport with the highest skill cap in the world. Having a wealth of mechanics available to master with such fine margins and hell for leather speed, it becomes difficult to impose yourself as a top player in the game and stand out from the crowd.

In the higher echelon of Rocket League players, many professionals are challenged by aspiring young talents in and around the leaderboards, with the "Top 100" charts often being a mix of the stars that we see populating RLCS and some unknown quantities looking to make their mark.

Over in the 1v1 and 2v2 department, one name that has previously broken into the top 25 is Twitch user "Ashllxyy", and despite being an unknown name, his playstyle is unique to every other player. The Supersonic Legend plays with just one hand.

Using one hand and his chin, Ashllxyy has found an expert level of control. From his custom overlay on stream, it appears he uses his chin to press down on the trigger (R2) whilst using his hand for everything from boosting to barrel rolling, jumping to flip resetting, and directing his car to hitting crazy floor pinches.

Having now notched up over 500 followers on Twitch, he can be seen taking on the likes of Victor "Fairy Peak!" Locquet and Yanis "Alpha54" Champenois.

Ashllxyy has also attracted the attention of Dignitas star Jack "ApparentlyJack" Benton, who shared the streamers Twitter and Twitch profiles, labelling hin "one of the best 1s players in the world".

Other pros such as Otto "Metsanauris" Kaipiainen replied by saying "That's unreal", whilst his Endpoint teammate Nelson "virtuoso" Lasko also pitched in to say "this guy is goated what the hell".

The achievement is spectacular, and his quiet rise through the ranks without being noticed makes this even more surprising. The 15-year old streamer is set for a bright future, and could make for an exciting addition to John "Johnnyboi_i" MacDonald's next SMUG showdown.
