Fortnite’s Operation Showdown event is over, and the snow has melted from the map as well. The players are desperately waiting for the next update in the game. Till then, Fortnite Week 6 challenges are out and players have the opportunity to earn experience points while completing these quests, and unlock new items through the battle pass.

In Fortnite Season 5, the challenge system has been completely revamped and each of them has a rarity system just like the weapons in the game. Moreover, the addition of NPCs (Non-playable characters) has also allowed them to add more interesting lines after completing a certain challenge. As usual, the higher the rarity of the challenge, the more experience points can be earned by the players.

This week particularly saw a lot of water-related challenges which are fairly easy to complete and players should have 20k experience points per completion of each of the challenges.

FORTNITE SEASON 5 WEEK 6 ALL CHALLENGES AND HOW TO COMPLETE THEM

#1 Blow up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands or Flopper Pond (3)

For this challenge, players would require a motorboat, which can be found at the coastal areas of the map. After that, they will need to find the fishing spots in these above-stated areas and shoot the fishing holes to blow them up. The players need to blow up three fishing holes successfully to complete the challenge. It could be hard for many players to aim the rockets from the motorboat, therefore, do make sure that you are far away from the fishing hole to have easier shots in them. Or - find some grenades and hurl them into the holes!

#2 Destroy Motorboats (3)

This one is a very simple challenge to complete as you can find motorboats all around the maps. You can use explosive weapons or use your pickaxe to destroy three motorboats in the matches. Use the above-shown map to get to these motorboats and destroy them as soon as possible. Make sure to keep weapons, as many players might try to destroy the same motorboat and eliminate you in the process. Therefore, having a defensive weapon option is preferred to safely complete this challenge.

#3 Catch Fish (7)

Fishing has been an integral aspect of the game, and many players have loved this new mechanic in the game. For completing this challenge, players need to search ‘Fishing Rod Barrels’ which can be found throughout the coastal areas, and use the Fishing Rods to fish in the waters. Do make sure to fish near the fishing round spots as they have guaranteed fish spawn. Otherwise, players might have a long time completing this easy challenge in the game.

#4 Destroy Boats (7)

Unlike Motorboats, boats can be found in ‘Craggy Cliffs’ point of interest on the map. Last season, the two shadow henchmen and ghost henchmen visited this location and players had a similar challenge to this one. For completing this, simply pickaxe the boats in this location which can be found on the wall, near the shores, and more. Players need to successfully destroy seven boats to complete this challenge in Fortnite.

#5 Signal the Coral Buddies (1)

Coral Buddies are back! Coral Buddies were introduced in the game way back in Chapter 2 Season 3 after the flood. They had a little evolving civilisation which changed with each update, giving players more side-quests and opportunities to earn experience points. Coral Castle has three seashells that can be used to signal the Coral buddies. Players need to visit these places and press ‘E’ on these seashells to complete the challenge. Coral Buddies exploded with their nuclear explosion and this season could potentially see them again, or it might be a good Easter egg for the game.

#6 Destroy Fishing Rod Barrels (7)

As mentioned earlier, Fishing Road Barrels can be found all around the map, and players simply need to destroy these to complete the challenge. Fishing Rod Barrels can also be pickaxed and broken to get the Fishing Rod from it. Players need to find these Fishing Rods barrels and destroy seven of them to complete the challenge in the game.

The upcoming week should potentially see a new update as Operation Snowdown has officially ended. The new update could have a ton of new exotic weapons that are already being leaked. Moreover, new hunters should be making their way into the game to protect the reality of Fortnite and stop players from escaping the loop. Many leaks have suggested a Predator collaboration with the game as the Easter eggs in Stealthy Stronghold verify this leak as well. Moreover, Kevin the Cube could make some changes in the map slowly to set the game up for the upcoming Fortnite Season 6.
