Elden Ring Players Find Easy Way To Defeat Bosses
Being something of a spiritual successor to the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring was naturally expected to carry over some of those FromSoftware classic touches. The classic roll, the limited save points, and of course, the boss fights that will take you to the washers attempt after attempt.
It's a tradition at this stage that FromSoftware titles are packed with memorable boss fights, for better or worse - and for all their brilliant designs to marvel at, there's just as much power behind their punches to make you regret ever meeting them. But, already, some crafty gamers have devised a tactic to cheese their boss fights and get away early.
Elden Ring Players Devise New Tactic To Beat Bosses
Elden Ring's closed network test has finally come to a close, but during the time players have spent with the game, it's given them plenty of ideas of how to tackle the title's bosses.
One clip shared to the Elden Ring community on Reddit has revealed that maybe, even the biggest and scariest bosses that the game has to offer can't quite contend with gravity.
In a battle with the massive dragon Agheel, user Professional_Ease765 has discovered that to defeat the fearsome foe. You can just… lure them off a cliff, and it'll kill them instantly - easy.
Comparatively, the fall damage of Elden Ring is a little easier to manage than that of Dark Souls, but even so - the fall that Agheel takes should not be enough to kill them. Oh well, it gets the job done.
Fans React To Agheel's Unfortunate Death
Fans have reacted in disbelief and fury at the fact that the dragon didn't fall all that far before succumbing to gravity's cruel hand, but one user is assuring the others that actually, it's feasible. "An animal that size would probably have to fall a lot further than that to be able to take off, and with the size of it, that fall would probably be fatal", says user unique_username_8134. Thank goodness someone did the measurements.
"Aw, poor thing broke its neck!" says user KGDSLG. "You can see it struggling in its final moments, it knew it was about to die an embarrassing death".
The game's gravity science could well be out of wack, but who really cares if this tactic works? It's sure to be a popular way to bypass attacks from Agheel. Given the difficulty of some of the other Elden Ring bosses, we bet similar cheeses are on the way.
