A cosplayer has transformed into Zagreus from Hades, and it's really quite impressive.

What Does The Zagreus Cosplay Look Like?

Taryn Cosplay, based in Catania, Italy, put together an outfit to pay homage to the prince of the Underworld, including his very own Stygian Blade.

In his Instagram caption, Taryn wrote: ""The God of Blood" 🖤 Zag. Halloween is upon Us! Will you Join Prince Zagreus in hades for an epic Halloween Party? 🎉 (Dusa will join too! 🐍) As always.. Which photo is your favorite?? I love so much #Hades by @supergiantgames ❤️ can't wait to wear this cosplay again! I've so many shooting ideas I'd love to do :3".

He added some extra special thanks to Daniele Cosenza's DC Photo Cosplay for the photos. The costume consists of a black wig, golden headpiece, red ribbons around his wrists, and chest exposed with the familiar costume on his bottom half.

Taryn confirmed that he made every part of his costume himself, including the impressive sword with skull details.

What Are Fans Saying About The Zagreus Cosplay?

The reaction to the post was overwhelmingly positive, with fans losing their minds over the likeness to the prince of the Underworld.

One fan gushed: "I didn't expect to see my favourite Male Cosplayer as my favourite Male videogame husband 😳 dear sir, you just made my day/night".

Another added: "That is such a great Zagreus. I love the Cerberus shoulder armor.".

The post gained nearly 18k likes (at the time of writing), so it's safe to say that people were pretty impressed with his efforts to capture the likeness of Zag. We'd say he nailed it.

The seasoned cosplayer has covered a range of other characters, such as Resident Evil's Chris Redfield, Soma Cruz from Castlevania, and Weiss from Final Fantasy.
