Warzone 2 Season 4 is fast approaching, and the community is getting ready for all the new content that the major update is set to bring.

With rumours of the new Vondel Resurgence map coming alongside fan-favourite Operators returning from the past, it's safe to say that Raven Software is looking to knock it out of the park with the patch.

However, a lot of Call of Duty fans want the devs to focus on fundamental changes and quality-of-life fixes, rather than exciting new content. In an attempt to make their voices heard, players have come together to put forward the most important changes Warzone 2 needs to implement in order to be a better game.

CoD players reveal changes devs need to make to Warzone 2

What change is needed most for Warzone 2 to be more successful?
by u/domitru in CODWarzone

Taking to the CODWarzone subreddit, user u/domitru decided to ask the community, "What change is needed most for Warzone 2 to be more successful?"

As you would expect, this sparked a huge number of responses from CoD players, with the most upvoted suggestion being, "Audio has to be fixed 100%." This has been a long-standing complaint for a lot of players, who feel as if, sometimes, it's just impossible to hear their foes in a gunfight.

Another popular idea was an increase in 'time to kill', so the base health of every player would be similar to 'Iron Trials.' While this would certainly divide the community, it would prevent competitors from being insta-killed by overpowered weapons and potentially open up more opportunities to make outplays.

Finally, the last two most popular suggestions were 'better servers' to improveĀ Call of Duty's overall stability and a reduction in cheaters. Both these issues have been acknowledged by the devs, but players want to see them targeted directly with a big patch.

Why are quality-of-life updates not prioritised in Warzone 2?

While all of the suggestions above would help improve Warzone 2 and transform it into a better game, none of the changes are considered exciting.

As a result, it's unlikely the devs would be willing to allocate a lot of resources to fix these problems, as adding them into the title wouldn't generate much hype.

However, it's clear the demand for quality-of-life additions is only growing, so it'll be interesting to see if Raven pivots its strategy in the future and decides to implement a massive patch that only focuses on fundamental improvements to the game.
