Big changes are coming to Call of Duty: Mobile as a new Mythic Weapon class if officially on the way. Since CoD: Mobile's launch a year ago, players have been getting to grips with this pint-sized version of Activision's beloved franchise. Just when you think you've mastered the five weapon classes (ranging from Common to Legendary), the developers go and throw another in.

The existence of Mythic Weapons have been teased for a while, but as we enter a new month and CoD puts its Halloween content behind it, get ready to make the most of the Fennec Ascended. Well, if you can find it. The latest addition is already shaping up to be the rarest to grace Call of Duty: Mobile, meaning finding it could take some serious grind as a labour of love. Don't worry, we've got you covered on everything you need to know about the Fennec Ascended.

What is the Fennec Ascended?

The official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter showed off the Fennec Ascended in all its glory. The video highlighted customisation and how the Fennec Ascended seemingly changes colour from neon orange to electric blue. Of course, the Fennec SMG is nothing new to Call of Duty: Mobile, it's just getting a visual boost as it becomes Mythic and will add "bada** cosmetics". Mythic Weapons will give a unique look with the likes of death effects and reactive camos.

As the video explains, you can take "customisation to the next level". The base Fennec was introduced as part of the supersized Season 11 update - which celebrated one year of Mobile and rolled out the biggest update ever. The Fennec was already tipped to be the best gun in-game when used with the Akimbo attachment, so expect it to deliver devastating damage when the Fennec Ascended arrives.

When is the Fennec Ascended coming to Call of Duty: Mobile?

We first heard about the Fennec Ascended at the start of October when it started doing the rounds on the likes of Reddit. We now know it will officially land in Call of Duty: Mobile on November 6.

When it comes to unlocking, the team has remained tight-lipped on how it will work. Previously, Legendary weapons were only found through lucky draws, however, it's suggested the Fennec Ascended's place as the first Mythic means it will come from draws and crates. There are also suggestions it might be part of a Mythic Weapon Pack after it was confirmed the Fennec Ascended will be coming to the store. Either way, it'll definitely cost you more than a Legendary.

There are just days to go until Mythic Weapons shoot a hole in the game, so we'd start saving if we were you. There's sure to be a boom in popularity of the Fennec Ascended, but if you somehow manage to get your hands on it, you'd better hold on for dear life.
