The Call of Duty League returned this weekend and did not disappoint. Kicking off on Saturday, we saw eight CDL teams fight it out in the Dallas Empire Home Series. Although it was literally a home series. It’s been over a month since we last saw the CDL teams compete, with COVID-19 postponing all competitions. Last time out we saw Dallas Empire beat Minnesota Røkkr in the final bracket to win the Los Angeles Home Series in one of the most gripping matches we have seen all year. Needless to say, if you needed any help getting hyped up, map 4 in the final last time round was the most entertaining piece of Call of Duty you will ever need to see. Scenes. Goosebumps.

Here’s How It All Worked...

How could I watch the Call of Duty League?

Recent Call of Duty news broke that the Dallas Empire Home Series would be shifting to an online competition and broadcast production format. As usual, you could find all the games live on the official Call of Duty League YouTube channel, but instead of having an event in the chosen city, players will compete from the comfort of their own homes due to the restrictions of the pandemic. This format gave you the chance to still see all the live-action, intense plays and commentary from your favourite Call of Duty League personalities.

All nine remaining Home Series will be played online, with the final series being Toronto Ultra on the 24th-26th July. With nine series left to complete there will be a series every two weeks, spreading from Friday to Sundays.

Where can you find the live stream or repeats?:

The CDL Standings so far.

After Florida Mutineers beat Minnesota Rokkr, both teams pushed their way up the table. Rokkr advanced to second at the expense of Atlanta Faze who didn't play this week and Dallas Empire who came third this week. Rokkr certainly look set to be an outsider for the title.
