As a multiplayer title that's always online, Warzone 2 heavily relies on its servers to be stable and allow the community to enjoy their matches without the frustration of being disconnected.

This is especially true now Ranked has been released and the stakes are higher for competitors who are looking to climb the ladder. It's always been a problem, but especially recently, the servers have been experiencing some serious issues which are causing widespread instability and disconnections.

As a result, the WZ2 community has slammed the game for having 'terrible servers' that lead to nothing but nonstop 'frustration'.

Taking to the CODWarzone subreddit, user tyler_brandt posted an image of the suspension they received after being disconnected from a Ranked match by a server issue.

Frustrated that they had been punished for a problem they couldn't prevent, tyler_brandt argued they are "sick of being penalized for Activision's terrible servers."

This sparked a discussion within the community, with one player agreeing that the servers are 'garbage' and for them, it's now 'not worth' playing the game anymore as it's causing too much frustration.

Another user shared a similar view, claiming they 'uninstalled' Warzone 2 because of the servers and the only way to solve the issue for them was to 'stop playing.'

Will Activision fix or improve the Warzone 2 servers?

Call of Duty has acknowledged the server problems facing Warzone 2 recently, with the official Twitter account posting that they're 'actively working to resolve them' back in April. However, in mid-May, issues are still affecting players, and it's obvious the community are beginning to lose their patience.

This has been a long-standing issue in WZ2, so it's almost guaranteed that more improvements will come in the future. It's just hard to know when or how effective they'll be at targeting the problem. For now, it's just a waiting game, with players be hoping that Season 4 may bring a huge overhaul to server stability.
