We're only just getting to grips with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War but already, players are realising it's living up to Treyarch's promise that this would be the biggest CoD game ever. Alongside an ambitious main story campaign, there's a sprawling multiplayer, the long-awaited return of Zombies, and future integration between Cold War and the fan-favourite Warzone battle royale spin-off.

Most are busy blowing the heads off undead zombies or trying out the desert-based Satellite map, however, that hasn't stopped the main campaign also being a major pull. Ahead of Cold War's full release, there was plenty of hype surrounding Frank Woods' story as he's recruited by the ballsy Russell Adler to track down a Soviet spy within the ranks of the US Government.

Even though the story might not be the longest Call of Duty campaign we've ever explored, there are plenty of easter eggs and secrets to uncover. Now, eagle-eyed players have found a secret grenade launcher that could come in handy.

How to find the secret Black Ops Cold War grenade launcher

Those fast-fingered fans have whipped through Cold War's story and unearthed the hidden grenade launcher in the "Redlight, Greenlight" mission. Here, you're tasked with infiltrating a Russian superstructure to stop a Soviet cell that's being trained to invade America. The location of the grenade launcher has been shared on Reddit by u/dajokama759, and it's actually pretty easy to find.

To equip the secret grenade launcher, simply head over to the Burger Town mascot. Don't worry, he's literally impossible to miss. Press the button to place an order and then go through the usual lines of dialogue. If you repeat this process over and over again until he'sst exhausted, a particularly private panel will open and pop out the secret grenade launcher. Voila, you've got an "explosive" addition to your already packed arsenal.

As Bubby the Burger Town mascot will remind you,  "It's our most popular choice", proving the M79 grenade launcher packs a punch.

Of course, this isn't the first time Treyarch has popped a well-hidden Easter egg into the background of its games. 2008's Call of Duty: World at War became famous for the Ray Gun hidden in the "Little Resistance" mission. Bubby is also no stranger to the series after the murderbot version of the character was featured in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's "Infection" map. Thankfully, Bubby is a little friendlier this time as he offers "meat and more meat!" as well as the secret grenade launcher out of his private areas.

Although many have polished off Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's campaign in record time, others are taking their time combing through every corner of this Soviet slugger. Keep your eyes peeled for more secret weapon drops and Easter eggs as Treyarch's giant game continues to find its stride.
