Just in case you weren't happy with the current roster of Marvel superheroes Hulk-smashing their way into Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, popular streamer Ali-A thinks has discovered a whole new team of heroes hiding in plain sight.

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe boasting more spandex-clad superheroes than you can shake an Infinity Gauntlet at, it's no surprise Fortnite fans have been asking for more of Earth's Mightiest Heroes (and villains) to join the party in Season 4.

A Marvel-themed season was teased ahead of its official drop, and with Thor swinging his hammer into the map, he was quickly joined by Iron Man, Wolverine, Storm, Mystique, She-Hulk, Groot, and Doctor Doom. While the Silver Surfer was a later addition, there are rumours Spider-Man will be swinging into action and could be followed by even more of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. In the meantime, Ali-A has discovered a way to add your own heroes to the mix.

One of Season 4's big updates added skin customisation, which allowed players to tweak generic skins and turn them into crime-fighting vigilantes. As Ali-A's latest video shows, it's easy to use this to make your own heroes that look like they've been pulled straight from the pages of a comic book. Despite Marvel ruling the roost in Season 4, the video shows how Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, and a host of other DC favourites can join the party.

Obviously, there are some familiar Marvel faces in there, with Ali-A creating a Spider-Man likeness just in case those Fortnite rumours are wrong. As for the drop of DC skins, it's convenient timing ahead of the Last Laugh bundle that's expected to arrive in November. Following in the footsteps of Marvel, DC rogues like the Joker and Poison Ivy will be available in the shop. Although players aren't expecting it to be a full DC crossover like Season 4 - come on, it would be superhero overkill - at least Epic Games is remembering the house that Batman built.

Other leaks claim everyone from Black Panther to Venom and Carnage could have their own skins before the final credits roll on Season 4. For now though, we're left putting out artistic skills to the test and reliving the heady days of The Sims where you could bring your favourite franchises to life and then make Marge Simpson, Spongebob, and Captain America swim to their death when you took away the steps to the pool.

Epic Games has continued to churn out updates to Fortnite, with add-ons including Stark Industries and a new series of Marvel LTMs for players to try out their Mythic Abilities. Still, there are some definite gaps in the Avengers lineup. If you fancy yourself as something of a Stan Lee or Jack Kirby, head into Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 and try your hands at creating your own Marvel x DC crossover that the comic book powerhouses would presumably never be able to agree on.
