As one of many Wordle-like games out there, Weaver rose to popularity in June 2022, and puts your vocabulary to the ultimate (and we mean ultimate) test in daily brain-bending games.
If you find yourself needing some help to keep your streak going in the game, we've got some hints, the solution and tips on how to approach each new round.
To get you warmed up, here's some Weaver hints
Before giving away the answer to you entirely, we'll start slow with a couple of hints: Each day we'll provide a dictionary description of the different words within each rung of the steps you'll need to take to get to the final word in Weaver.
Ready to get started? Here are all the clues for today's game on February 23rd, 2024:
|a bar that slides into a socket to fasten a door or window.
|a sturdy item of footwear covering the foot and ankle, and sometimes also the lower leg.
|private property taken from an enemy in war.
If you're still none-the-wiser, have no fear, as we've got the full set of answers for you in the section below.
The juicy bit, today's 'Weaver' answers
SPOILER WARNING: Before we go any further, this is your last chance to prevent Weaver's answers from being spoiled to you!
For today's game in Weaver, the full solution of the words that you'll need to enter on each 'rung' of the ladder to get from 'Belt' to 'Loop' is outlined below:
- From start to finish, you'll want to go Belt
- That should get you to Loop.
And that's it! You'll now be able to continue your streak and can either return the next day for another round, or you can press the dice icon (found in the top-left of the screen) to try out another random game.
When does the next Weaver game start?
According to the current timer in my own game, a new game for Weaver will show up at around 5 AM BST, which is equivalent to 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET.
How to play Weaver
To get started with playing Weaver, all you really need to do to jump right in is head on over to its website where you'll see today's game ready for you to start guessing.
You'll always have a starting word and the goal word displayed (the starting word is at the top, and the goal is at the bottom), with a space in between for you to work on bridging the gap, so to speak. When I first started playing myself, I initially thought I'd need to make a guess in one word, but as you play, more 'rungs' will open up, allowing you to input more and more words.
Do remember that you're only allowed to change one letter for any given word, though, so you may find yourself needing to hit that reset button to refresh the game board a fair few times (I know I certainly have!)
The great news here is that the letters you enter don't have to be those already displayed, as you may need to throw an 'L' or an 'M' in there to shuffle things in to make a new word even if it's not in the final rung.
Once you've locked that letter correctly in place, it'll show up with a green highlight, meaning you can then focus on the next letter and the next, with each additional word getting a bit easier each time.
And with that, that's everything you need to know about completing today's Weaver game! Make sure to check back tomorrow for more answers if you're struggling to make it through.
