Vondel is the new map coming to Warzone 2 in Season 4 and size-wise, it's somewhere between Ashika Island and Al Mazrah.

Players can expect a mixture of densely-packed urban streets and canals, as well as larger structures to fully explore. There's also a huge amount of verticality, with the devs even teasing that they've hidden secret parkour routes that competitors can discover.

With 15 points of interest in total including a medieval castle, an abandoned zoo, and a soccer stadium, it's safe to say there's plenty to discover and enjoy.

In total for Warzone 2 Season 4, they'll be three new weapons to unlock at launch that include the Tempus Razorback AR, the ISO 45 SMG, and the Tonfa melee weapon.

All of them will be accessible to unlock for free, so there's no need to worry about spending any money to get your hands on them:

There's also a shotgun that's expected to arrive in Season 4 Released, but the devs haven't revealed too many details on the gun just yet.

Lockdown Limited Time Mode

Inspired by the Multiplayer mode Hardpoint, the new Lockdown mode is coming to Vondel in Warzone 2 and it tasks multiple Quads to capture and hold zones around the map rather than being the last one standing.

This is perfect for those who enjoy objective-based gameplay and even allows you to choose your custom ideal loadout at the beginning of a match.

Vengeance Icon

Warzone 2's Resurgence mode will introduce a new mechanic in Season 4, the Vengeance Icon. This new core feature provides players with an icon that indicates the direction of the opponent that eliminated their squadmate.

It's worth noting that this only showcases the direction of the enemy, not their exact location. However, that's certainly enough to hunt them and down and seek revenge.

Dynamic Resurgence Timers

Dynamic Resurgence Timers are new quality-of-life feature that automatically adjusts a squad’s timers should one or multiple squad members disconnect.

Should those squad members rejoin, the Resurgence timers revert back to their 'normal' countdowns.

As always, Warzone 2 Season 4 will bring a host of new Operators for players to unlock including Nikto and Io. You can check out the full list of Operators below:

  • Io - Season 4 launch (BlackCell)
  • Nikto - Season 4 launch (Battle Pass)
  • Ana Vega - Season 4 window (Bundle)
  • Izanami - In Season 4 (Bundle)
  • Butcher - In Season 4 (Bundle)

Warzone 2 Season 4 DMZ new features and reset

Infinity Ward has confirmed that Warzone 2 Season 4 will introduce a complete DMZ reset. All contraband, key, and mission inventories will be emptied. This is just like the one in Season 2, except this time it will include insured weapon slots.

It's worth noting the devs have made it clear there will be a new way to unlock insured weapon slots in Season 4. Not only that, rest assured that earned rewards such as blueprints, skins, and calling cards will not be affected by the reset.

So, there you have it, that's everything we know about the Warzone 2 Season 4 update that's set to arrive on June 14, 2023. Make sure to head over to our dedicated Call of Duty homepage for the latest news and guides.
